BoomBod Review

Introduction

BoomBod Weight Loss Shots Product ImageDo these glucomannan-based drinks really have what it takes to transform your body in just 7 days? This product seems to be reasonably new to the market, however the concept is certainly nothing new to us. In this BoomBod review, we’re taking a look at what consumers can really expect from this product.

Readers please note that statements on this page are fair comment based on observation. This content is produced on a matter of public interest.

What Is BoomBod?

BoomBod 7 Day Achiever is a weight loss drink produced by a UK-based startup company named BoomBod Ltd. Currently, BoomBod Ltd have a 4 star rating on the popular consumer feedback platform trustpilot, and have a 8.9/10 trustscore from them.

This product is available via the official boombod website, and at Holland & Barrett (in-store and online).

One 7 day supply of BoomBod costs £29.99 and contains 21 sachets (x7 Morning Energizer Sachets, x7 Afternoon Motivator Sachets and x7 Night Rejuvenator Sachets).

The product itself is essentially a Glucomannan sachet with added vitamins and minerals; users are directed to consume three sachets per day, mixing one sachet into 250ml of water and consuming in the morning with breakfast, afternoon with lunch, and at night with your dinner.

Boombod themselves state that their 7 day achiever sachets are a “clinically proven method of losing weight”, and that they also help to decrease bloating and hunger cravings. As the product name implies, consumers are told they can expect visible weight loss results within 7 days.

Does BoomBod Work?

Based on our research into this product, we believe it may be useful for weight loss when used correctly, however it’s quite an expensive option and has its drawbacks (like anything).

Firstly, the positive thing is that this product contains an expansive dietary fiber named Glucomannan, which has been shown to promote satiety and weight loss when 3 grams is consumed per day (directly prior to meals) in conjunction with a calorie-restricted diet.

Essentially, BoomBod works by helping you to eat less. When you take the sachet prior to your meal, the product is going to work to fill you up, meaning you’ll naturally want to eat less at your meals. It is this appetite suppressing effect that causes the weight loss – however it must be used over the long term.

BoomBod isn’t a “fat burner”, it doesn’t contain any stimulant ingredients that will boost metabolic rates. Consumers shouldn’t expect lightening fast weight loss results, you’ll only burn off fat at the pace your metabolism will naturally allow.

As stated above, you will need to drink the sachet right before your breakfast, lunch and dinner. Not a lot of people will particularly like the idea that the product is designed to make you eat less, rather that being designed to “burn away fat”.

If you’re planning on using this product, bare in mind that it’s going to be incredibly expensive to maintain. Clinical studies on glucomannan have shown that, for the best results, it should be used for at least 8 weeks. Simply put, 7 days isn’t really enough time for your body to lose weight, in our opinion. At £29.99 per week, you may find it’s too expensive to maintain. We believe that you’ll need to take this product for at least 4-8 weeks, as a 7-day-supply will likely just not be enough time for most normal people to see weight loss results.

The Pros & Cons Of BoomBod

Below we’ve listed everything we like and dislike:

The Pros

  • Contains ingredients useful for general health.

The Cons

  • Does not contain any ingredients that will directly “burn fat” or boost metabolic rates.
  • Potentially negative side effects.
  • For BoomBod to be effective, you must drink the shots directly prior to a meal.

Are There Any BoomBod Reviews From Customers?

We have found the following BoomBod Weight Loss Shots review testimonials via customers online:

These really did help me lose weight, but it took longer than 7 days. I suppose everyone is different but for me i had to use it for at least 2 months.

quite sickly and if you don’t drink it quick enough it goes nasty and gloopy. It’s too early to tell whether or not it’s been helpful for weight loss (only on day 5).

Our Final Verdict On BoomBod

To conclude our BoomBod review, it’s a bit of a mixed bag – there are things that we like about it and things that we aren’t too blown away by. While it’s not necessarily a bad product to use for weight loss (in fact glucomannan is clinically proven to help support weight loss), it’s essentially just a very expensive glucomannan drink (much like skinny sprinkles).

You shouldn’t expect miracle-like fat loss results from BoomBod shots, but if used correctly for at least 4-8 weeks, you’re likely to see tangible results.

For the price, we feel it’s a shame that the product doesn’t contain ingredients for burning fat and boosting metabolism.
