To conclude our Cellucor P6 Ripped review, it’s a bit of a mixed bag – there are things that we like about it and things that we aren’t too blown away by.
Firstly, let’s look on the positive side. P6 Ripped is a great 2-in-1 supplement for anybody that’s looking to do a “lean bulk” – i.e. gain muscle without gaining too much fat. The formula contains very useful ingredients for muscle gain (after all, it is a “test booster”) as well as containing metabolism-boosting stimulants. While we wouldn’t necessarily recommend this if your only goal is weight loss, it’ll definitely be an ideal product for somebody who is looking to cut without losing too much muscle.
The main issues we have with the product are that it doesn’t contain any ingredients that’ll directly “burn fat”. When most people think of thermogenic products, they automatically assume it has the capabilities to burn away body fat, which isn’t true – if you do not set your expectations correctly you may be left disappointed. Another drawback seems to be the total absence of any ingredients that’ll consistently curb appetite (this could be looked at as a positive if you’re planning on lean bulking however).
Finally, we don’t really like how they haven’t told consumers how much caffeine is in each serving – the use of proprietary blends in general are pretty annoying and only cause inconvenience the consumer at the end of the day.
