Iaso Tea Review

Introduction

Iaso Tea Product ImageWe’ve looked at tea and its weight loss benefits in the past, but we’ve never looked specifically at Iaso tea. The manufacturers Total Life Change (or TLC for short) make a whole host of impressive claims about this detox tea.

In this Iaso Tea review, we’re taking a look at the formula to establish what we believe consumers can and cannot expect from it.

What Is Iaso Tea?

Iaso Tea is a weight loss tea that’s created by a Dutch company named Total Life Changes (also known as TLC).

One box of Iaso Tea costs $49.95, contains 5 packets (each packet making one gallon of detox tea) and will last users for approximately 10 days, based on the directions of consuming half a gallon of the tea each day; it is available from the official TLC Iaso Tea website and Amazon.

Like many other products made by TLC, Iaso tea is targeted towards those who are either looking for a “weight loss tea”, or those who feel like they need to overhaul their general health by detoxifying their body.

The product itself is simply a complex of various herbal tea extracts, it is free from caffeine, senna, and has no stimulant content at all. Total Life Changes directly state that Iaso Tea helps to “flush the body of harmful toxins from the upper and lower intestines.

Consumers of Iaso Tea are promised effects such as weight loss, improved general health, better sleep, and improved digestion.

Does Iaso Tea Work?

There are two ways of looking at this product. From a general health aspect, Iaso Tea can be slightly useful; the formula contains typical herbal extracts that are commonly found within detox teas.

These ingredients contain antioxidants and other helpful nutrients that can support longevity and an overall improved quality of life (though for all intents and purposes, Iaso Tea won’t “detox” your body – that’s what your liver is for).

Looking at Iaso Tea from a weight loss perspective, which we feel that 99% of our readers will be, the tea is sadly completely ineffective. In TLC’s defense, they never really claim the tea can directly cause weight loss – they only state that it helps cleanse the upper and lower intestines (which it can’t).

To be crystal clear, the Iaso Tea blend does not contain any ingredients that directly and independently “burn body fat” or “boost metabolic rates” – expecting to become skinnier after using this tea for a sustained period of time is a pipe dream; you’ll be better off sticking to a low calorie diet and using weight loss pills.

The bottom line: Iaso Tea could have some general health benefits (though it’s not going to detox your body), but it’s certainly not going to help you lose weight.

Very disappointed. I used for a month and it didn’t do anything.

works wonders ….. lost 14 lbs in three weeks

Our Final Verdict On Iaso Tea

To conclude our Iaso Tea review, it’s a bit of a mixed bag. The tea very likely has some antioxidants which can be useful for the purposes of general health, however there’s no evidence that any ingredient inside this product causes weight loss or “detoxifies” the body.

As well as the patchy supporting scientific evidence, this product is ludicrously overpriced for a something that’s essentially a generic herbal tea blend.
