Isoburn Review

Introduction

Isoburn Product ImageBSN are one of the biggest names in sports nutrition, but that doesn’t give them an automatic pass here. Their Isoburn weight loss shake makes some big claims; apparently this shake can burn away your body fat and boost your metabolism – we decided to investigate. In this Isoburn review, we’re disclosing what consumers can and cannot expect from this popular diet shake.

Readers please note that statements on this page are fair comment based on observation. This content is produced on a matter of public interest. Statements on this page are our honest opinion.

What Is Isoburn?

Isoburn is a weight loss shake produced by a US-based company named Glanbia Performance Nutrition (operating as BSN, or Bio-Engineered Supplements and Nutrition). At the time of writing this review, Glanbia have a rating of A+ on the Better Business Bureau and have no outstanding customer complaints filed against them.

This product is available from the official BSN website (www.bsn-supplements.com) as well as multiple other third party retailers.

One 600g tub of Isoburn costs around $25-35 (depending on where you shop) and contains 20 servings, meaning one shake will cost you between $1.25-1.75.

As is implied in the product name, BSN’s IsoBurn is targeted towards those who are looking to lose weight. The shake formula is loosely described by BSN as somewhat of a “thermogenic fat burning shake”. Consumers are promised effects such as the increased ability to burn body fat and boosted metabolic rates.

Does Isoburn Work?

Based on our research into this product, we do not believe that Isoburn is the “fat burning protein” that BSN are making it out to be, however if used in a correct manner we believe that there’s a decent change it can be helpful for someone looking to lose body fat.

Firstly, when investigating the formulation, we could not find any ingredients that would directly and independently burn body fat or boost user metabolic rates. It’s important to note that BSN do acknowledge that their weight loss health claims have not been evaluated by the FDA, which is essentially the company admitting the claims have no conclusive scientific backing.

On a more positive note, this product contains natural caffeine which may potentially help increase the users metabolic rates. It also contains an ingredient named Lepticore®, which has a promising study showing it can help with weight loss by regulating body fat storages.

Overall, we believe that Isoburn is a decent meal replacement shake – it’s low in calories, contains energy-boosting natural ingredients, is high in protein and also contains naturally occurring amino acids. In order to see tangible weight loss results from this product, we believe that you’ll need to use it as a meal replacement shake in conjunction with a calorie-restricted diet and robust exercise regime – with sustained usage over a period of 8-12 weeks, we don’t see why you won’t see some reasonable results.

Are There Any Isoburn Reviews From Customers?

We have found the following Isoburn review testimonials via customers online:

I love this protein, great for right after the gym to feed your muscles to aide in building strength and faster healing. But its more of a lean protein powder so very good for us that are not trying to build size but are focusing on burning fat and developing lean muscle. It blends nice and smooth. The vanilla taste good and can easily be mixed with pb2 or fruits/berries even throw in some spinach or kale

Tastes terrible, felt nothing.

Our Final Verdict On Isoburn

To conclude our Isoburn review, it’s a bit of a mixed bag – there are things that we like about it and things that we aren’t too blown away by.

Firstly, we don’t believe that this is a bonafide “fat burning” protein, as suggested by BNS. While it can potentially be helpful for achieving your weight loss goals, this statement does appear to be a little misleading, especially for the unsavvy shopper who may believe that the shakes can melt away their body fat with little-to-no effort.

To set your expectations, this product isn’t going to produce miracle-like fat loss results in a short period of time – even the study into the ingredient Lepticore showed us that only small results came after 8 weeks of sustained usage.

The bottom line is, IsoBurn is a useful, low-calorie meal replacement shake that uses high-quality proteins. While it’s certainly not the most advanced weight loss shake on the market, it will be ideal for somebody who’s just looking to lower their daily caloric intake.
