Introduction
You’ve more than likely seen this product on the shelves of every sports nutrition store you’ve ever been in, but can this popular product live up to the hype and really deliver users good weight loss results?
In this Thermobol review we’re looking at what you can really expect from this product.
Readers please note that statements on this page are fair comment based on observation. This content is produced on a matter of public interest. Statements on this page are our honest opinion.
What Is Thermobol?
MaxiNutrition, formerly known as MaxiMuscle are a sports nutrition brand owned by pharmaceutical giant GlaxoSmithKlein (aka. GSK). Thermobol is the brands flagship fat burner supplement and sits within their ‘Lean Definition’ product range along side other weight loss products like CLA-1000.
You can buy this product from the official Thermobol website, as well as places like Holland and Barrett and Amazon.
The directions for Thermobol are to take three tablets, spread evenly throughout the day. MaxiNutrition describe Thermobol as a product that “provides the energizing effects of caffeine with specific vitamins and chromium to support your training goals”.
Does Thermobol Work?
We do not believe this is a good product for weight loss; The formula is just completely lacking any scientifically proven fat burning ingredients, essentially all we have here is a tablet full of stimulants – with this comes some potent side-effects for some users. In defense of Thermobol, MaxiNutrition never actually claimed this was a fat burner (although it is heavily implied in the name and marketing).
This product should really just be treated as any energy supplement, rather than a fully dedicated weight loss product – it will be perfect for boosting your energy in the gym and will be an ideal product to take prior to cardio sessions. For absolute clarity, this product will not burn your body fat away, it will not boost your metabolism and it will not suppress your appetite; If that is what you were expecting you will need to look elsewhere.
On a positive note, this product does contain chromium, which is an excellent ingredient of that helps contribute to normal micronutrient metabolism.
The Pros & Cons Of Thermobol
Below is a list of what we believe are the main positive and negative aspects of Thermobol:
The Pros
- Will boost energy levels.
- Can help support athletic performance
- May help spike metabolic rates.
- Contains chromium.
The Cons
- Product doesn’t contain any ingredients that will directly and independently “burn fat”
- Unlikely to suppress user appetite levels.
- Potentially negative side effects.

We would not recommend this product to those with high blood pressure or heart problems. Those under the age of 18, or women who are pregnant or breastfeeding should avoid Thermobol.

Are There Any Thermobol Reviews From Customers?
We have found the following Thermobol review testimonials from customers online:
These tablets had me running for the toilet every 20 minutes. Probably all the cayenne pepper inside them doing a number on me. Ended up throwing them away, just couldn’t stomach them.
Thermobol was alright at the beginning but after my body had gotten used to them they didn’t work as well. The massive energy boosts stopped after about 10 days and after the 30 day course i hadn’t really lost that much weight (bare in mind I was doing 30 minutes of cardio per day and had reduced my daily calorie count down by 500).
Our Final Verdict On Thermobol
To conclude our Thermobol review, it’s a bit of a mixed bag – there are things that we like about it and things that we aren’t too blown away by. The main issue we have with this product is the complete lack of proven ingredients; If you’re buying this product you are more than likely buying it to lose weight, unfortunately the formula of this product is not suited to deliver such results. This product is great if you’re just looking for an energy boost.. but most people buying weight loss products aren’t just looking for an energy boost!
As shown in the section above there are many customers who didn’t really have good things to say about this product, with negative side effects being the main problem reported. When it comes to tablets rammed full of stimulants, you’re going to get some pretty bad side-effects that may leave you dashing for the toilet at any second!
